Executive Vice President, Human Resources Division
Iris Matsumoto is Executive Vice President of the Human Resources Division and was appointed to First Hawaiian Bank’s Senior Management Committee in January 2008. She is an 20-year veteran with First Hawaiian Bank, joining in August 1998, as the bank’s Compensation and Benefits Manager where she was responsible for managing the bank’s compensation and benefits programs. She has over 35 years of extensive experience in the human resources field overseeing talent acquisition and retention, compensation and benefits, executive compensation, talent development and succession management, labor relations, payroll, operations and regulatory compliance practice areas. She has worked in the retail, airline, diversified agriculture and financial services industries for both public and private companies. She currently serves on the Boards of First Hawaiian Foundation and Help, Understanding and Group Support (HUGS). She earned a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
