On April 7, 2020, First Hawaiian, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it is changing the location of its 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 (the “Annual Meeting”). A copy of the press release announcing the location change is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein. Further information regarding this change to the location of the Annual Meeting can be found in the proxy supplement filed by the Company with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 7, 2020.

Annual Meeting to be held in virtual only format
HONOLULU, Hawaii, April 7, 2020 – First Hawaiian, Inc. (NASDAQ:FHB) (“First Hawaiian” or the “Company”) announced today a change in the location of the 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”). In light of public health concerns regarding the novel coronavirus COVID-19, the Annual Meeting will be held solely by remote communication, in a virtual only format. There will be no in-person stockholder attendance. The previously announced date and time of the meeting (April 22, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., local time in Honolulu) will not change.
