James Moffatt

Director

Mr. Moffatt is a member of the board of directors and has served on the board of First Hawaiian Bank, since July 2021. Mr. Moffatt served at the most senior levels of Deloitte, a leading global professional services firm, for over 30 years. He spent the majority of his 35-year professional career with Deloitte Consulting in Los Angeles. He last served as Vice Chairman of Deloitte’s global consulting business from January 2018 through his retirement at the end of 2018. He was Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte’s global consulting business from 2015 to 2017, and prior to that, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte’s U.S. consulting business from 2011.

Mr. Moffatt currently serves as an advisor to various private equity and venture capital investment firms and also serves on the boards, or as an advisor to a number of their portfolio companies. He currently is a board member of Optiv, a cybersecurity solutions integrator; Icertis, the leading provider of AI enabled contract intelligence software; Henry Schein One, LLC, a leading dental software provider; AmplifAI, a company that provides AI enabled customer service management for enterprises; Laminar (f/k/a H20K Innovations), a company that uses artificial intelligence to help businesses optimize industrial liquid and fluid systems, Ness Digital Engineering, a leader in digital engineering and product development services, Avalara, a leader in tax automation and compliance for business, and a board partner of Greycroft, a venture capital firm specializing in artificial intelligence. He is also Vice Chairman and an executive committee member of UCLA Anderson School Board of Advisors; Serves as Trustee on the UCSD Foundation board, and is an advisory board member at the Centre of Neuro Skills.

Mr. Moffatt holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a graduate of both the Director’s Consortium at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the Master Class of National Association of Corporate Directors.
