Darlene Blakeney is Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, Wholesale Banking Group. She joined First Hawaiian Bank in 2015 and was appointed Executive Vice President and Division Manager, Corporate Banking Division in 2021.  She previously served as Senior Vice President and Division Manager, and has been President of First Hawaiian Leasing, Inc. since 2018.  She has over 25 years of experience in banking and finance focusing on credit review, commercial real estate, small business and corporate lending.   She also served as the Director of Finance and Operations for a non-profit educational institution in Honolulu from 2006 to 2015. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the YWCA of Oahu and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Le Jardin Academy.  She earned a Bachelors and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School and the National Commercial Lending Graduate School.
