Neill Char is Vice Chair, Retail Banking and Consumer Products Group, responsible for First Hawaiian Bank’s entire branch network in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan, Community Banking, Personal Banking and Business Banking Segments, Consumer Products and he was appointed to First Hawaiian Bank’s Senior Management Committee in August 2020. He has held executive leadership positions in the areas of Commercial Banking and Private Banking and Wealth Advisory Divisions in the Wealth Management Group. He joined the bank in 2001 as a Corporate Banker in the Corporate Banking Division and later served as the University Branch Manager. He is a Board member of the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, Friends of Hawaii Charities, and Japan-America Society of Hawaii. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Hawaii and is an honors graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.
