Neill Char is Vice Chairman of the Retail Banking Group, responsible for First Hawaiian Bank’s entire branch network in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan, and he was appointed to First Hawaiian Bank’s Senior Management Committee in August 2020. He has held executive leadership positions in the areas of Commercial Banking and Private Banking and Wealth Advisory Divisions in the Wealth Management Group.  He joined the bank in 2001 as a Corporate Banker in the Corporate Banking Division and later served as the University Branch Manager. He is a Board member and 2nd Vice Chair for the Hawaii Foodbank and a director of the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, and a director of the Oahu Economic Development Board. He also serves as a Board member and Treasurer of the Jean Charlot Foundation.  He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Hawaii and is an honors graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.
