First Hawaiian Bank Introduces iPad App for its FHB Online® Banking Services
The first local bank to offer an iPad app for online banking
(Honolulu, Hawaii, February 1, 2013) First Hawaiian Bank today became the first local bank to unveil an iPad app for its FHB Online banking services, according to an announcement by Curt Otaguro, First Hawaiian personal and e-Banking Division manager.
"The iPad app for FHB Online was designed to take full advantage of the enhanced user experience that is unique to the iPad platform," said Otaguro. "It's part of our overall strategy to develop technologies that provide 24/7 convenience for our valued customers. They now have even more flexibility in choosing how and when they want to do their banking with First Hawaiian."
The free FHB iPad app, which is available for download from the App Store, allows FHB Online customers with an Internet connection to:
- View account balances, including new money management charts
- View recent transactions
- Pay bills
- Transfer money between their FHB accounts
- Locate nearby branches and ATMs by GPS, zip code or address
- Click on links to open an account or view current specials
First Hawaiian Bank continues to develop eBanking initiatives that provide innovative and creative solutions that add value and convenience for its customers. When the Bank introduced FHB Online, it was the first local bank to offer customers account access through their computer.
